Every Monday there is a street market in the High Street, it occupies the High Street from end to end which is closed for the day. A very busy little market that attracts large numbers of visitors every week, summer or winter.

Every Thursday either in Saxon Square or the Co Op car park is the Country Faye, starting at 9 a.m. stalls sell their goods from the country.

The first Friday of every month the Dorset farmers market will be found in the Saxon Square selling a wide variety of home grown produce. Not a weekly event but as near as damn it.

9th Remebrance Day Parade - 10am - 1pm Large parade incorporating veterans, youth organisations, standard bearers and dignatories. Headed by the Royal British Legion Band, Christchurch. Parade starts from the Royal British Legion, Bargates at 10am and works its way through the High Street to the Priory where a Remembrance Service is held. After the service the parade heads back up through the town and finishes at the Royal British Legion.
10th 90th Armistice Anniversary Concert at the Regents Centre, Christchurch. Starts 7.30pm. Royal British Legion Band, Christchurch plus guests.

All day Christmas Market in the traffic-free High Street -a great opportunity for Christmas shopping and enjoying the fun. Father Christmas will be arriving in a sleigh drawn by real reindeer in time to switch- on the Christmas lights. Charity Fair
