Every Monday there is a street market in the High Street, it occupies the High Street from end to end which is closed for the day. A very busy little market that attracts large numbers of visitors every week, summer or winter.

Every Thursday either in Saxon Square or the Co Op car park is the Country Faye, starting at 9 a.m. stalls sell their goods from the country.

The first Friday of every month the Dorset farmers market will be found in the Saxon Square selling a wide variety of home grown produce. Not a weekly event but as near as damn it.

Kyla & Franz - trained light opera and popular classical music singers

Will be singing in Saxon Square from 11am - 3pm.

Kyla & Franz started singing together regularly about a year ago purely by chance, but the response received from the public was so overwhelming that they decided to embark on a new vocal journey. It is very rare in the classical music world to have a soprano and bass sing together (duets) because the voice types are at different ends of the vocal spectrum. However, the duo are not at all conventional in their approach to music.

They will have a break every 15 mins and will be collecting for Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
